MJ Moores
M.J. Moores joined early in 2015 with her incredible ability and knowledge of the written word. A teacher, instructor, talented writer, amazing editor, and workshop coordinator, she signed on with our second Unbound anthology and showed such talent that we needed her on our team.
M.J. received her BFA Specialist in Theatre Production with a minor in Creative Writing, as well as her BEd, from York University in Toronto, Canada. She taught English and Drama at the high school level for 9 years in Simcoe County before becoming a freelance editor and writing coach. M.J. continues to enjoy giving workshops both to the public at local libraries/community centres and as an author/editor guest speaker at high schools and writer’s conferences. She is a member of four writing organizations: RWA/TRW (Toronto), WCYR (York Region), BWG (Bradford), & Writers’ Ink (Caledon) and current Chair of the Writers’ Community of York Region.
Her first book with Love Knot Books is titled Final Year, a flawed romance.
